Charters - Deep down in the Louisiana marsh just south of New Orleans
is home to one of the hardest fighting saltwater fish - the Redfish.
These giants flourish in the shallow water ponds and canals extending
from Bayou Barataria and the various lakes in the Lafitte area. Getting
to the Redfish takes a special shallow draft boat to gain access to
this bad boys territory. Rods, tackle and baits must be of the toughest
design for these able fighters.
Bring
your camera along on your Redfish charter. It's not
unusual to see all sorts of birds and wildlife while fishing from a
slow moving boat. Many different kinds of birds inhabit Louisiana from
its shoreline to the big Cypress which line the lazy bayous and lakes
